2010 Mustang Challenge Rules

Basically the same rules and points as last year, just more events throughout the year. The only thing added will be if you are a returning challenge member than you will have vetran status. First official sign-up event this Saturday, January 23 at the BMMC Awards Banquet.


BMMC Bold Moves Mustang Club Challenge

What is it?

The Bold Moves Mustang Challenge is an ongoing and one-year point’s race that will take place this year. It will start with the first scheduled event introduced this January with the first scheduled event to follow soon after. It will conclude with the Toy Drive for Bob Hurley and Final awards ceremony will be held in December. This is a way to help to increase the club participation and turnout at all of the events. There will be a winner and trophy awarded to the First place person/team. Along with the trophy there will be prizes as well. Runner up places will be determined later in the year.

How do I win the Bold Moves Mustang Challenge?

Easy, come out to BMMC sponsored events and earn points based on participation. Each sponsored event will have a posted point value. The event will only be considered a points eligible event if it is posted in the forums up to One week prior to the event taking place.

- Event Participation.

For events such as car shows, you being there does not count; your car must be in the show with the club. You have to participate as a club member...

Points will only be awarded to Club Events. Period. All Club Event will be denoted.

-Test N Tune

We realize that not everyone wants to race his or her car down the track. We would like to increase the presence of mustangs at these events though. Coming out and being with the club and supporting the ones who do want to race will help you to earn points. Showing up and watching will carry the same point value as actually racing.

-Tech Days

Again the same as Test N Tune, you do not need to work on a car or have yours worked on, you just need to be there to support the rest of the club.


Can I buy my points? Yes. $1 = 1 point

If you buy Club Swag Items this year (previous purchases do not count), then you can earn a 1 point for every two dollars spent on these items.

You can also make a club donation at anytime to boost your point values as well. These donations will carry a point for every dollar donated. Donations for the toy drive will count one point per dollar donated.

*What do I need to do to join?

Send a email to mailto:boldmovestulsa@gmail.com. There will be a $5.00 entry fee that can be made to BMMC. You can pay by cash, Check, or Paypal. There will be a spreadsheet with events and points rankings that will be posted on the forums and also emailed after every event, so you will constantly know where you stand.

The $5.00 is used for prizes and things for the mustang challenge, no one personally profits from this money.

*Board members and Executive members are not eligible.


What do I win?

There are two levels… Ongoing and Annual.

Ongoing- The Ongoing awards are like a frequent flyer program. With the levels of Silver, Gold, Platinum and Elite Platinum Member. A level will last one year after the level has been achieving. For example if you achieve GOLD status on March 1 of 2009 and then do nothing to keep your points ups, it will expire on March 1 of 2010.

Levels and points needed to obtain level…
• Silver= 0-99 Points
• Gold= 100-249 Points
• Platinum= 250-499
• Elite Platinum= 500+

Annual- At the end of the year (After the BHF/BMMC Toy drive) points will be tallied and the member with the most accrued point will win. The winner and one runner up will be announced.

The overall winner will receive a special personalized plaque, personalized and embroidered Jacket or Pullover of their choice. This Jacket or Pullover will have the winners name, the BMMC logo and “2009 BMMC Challenge Winner- Member of the Year” embroidered on it.

The runner up will receive also receive a plaque and choice of color BMMC T-shirt.

Forum Rankings-All Challenge members will have a special forum ranking showing your level and the annual winner will have a one of a kind Ranking.

Buy Points $1 = one point 100% of all monies collected go directly to the club account to fund the club.


Administrator

Jerry Miller (03.sonicblue) will administer the award program. Any and all disputes will be reviewed by the BMMC board members. Board members will make judgments based on facts known. All judgments are final.

So we only have 5 participants in the Challenge so far this year? What a bunch of wusses. I want a personal excuse, bad or not, for frequent posters as to why they won't put up their 5 bucks and try to knock Kelly off his throne!

You don't necessarily have to have a mustang to get points, just show up at mustang events wearing BMMC swag. Just ask Dein, he got points last year while driving a rental.

We.... putting on my ref hat.... To join the challenge... you have to be an OFFICIAL BMMC member. In order to be a BMMC member, you have to sign up, pay your entry fee and own a mustang.
