A good but lenghty article on the new 3.6 liter Kenne Bell blower for the GT500. Looks like even more power to be coming to the shelby's here in the near future, but for a price. 1026hp at 25psi.

So everytime I go over a bridge or hit a bump I get this loud annoying rattle. It doesnt come from the door or dash but more like the transmission. I can feel it in the shifter and also on the floor when it gets really loud. The only thing I can think of is maybe the midpipe but I checked it out and everything is like it should be. Anyone else had this problem? It's one of the Hurst short throws

Here is what i want to do.

Lately i've been having memory issues with a CAD software and it crashes on me

So what i thought would help is to "assign" my software a certain amount of memory so it wont run out.

Is there any ideas on how to go about this

From what i understand, Windows is taking control of how much memory Autocad gets and its kind of like the two but heads all the time on memory

Any ideas?

I'm running Autocad 2010 and its been the biggest memory hog ...

I bought this 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 from a mutual friend of a young actor in LA. He had this car totally get cool after market toys at Galpin Motorsports (the 'Pimp My Ride' guys in LA). It has cool things like DVD, iPod, build in radar, navigation, etc. Moreover, his extremely rich dad gave a $25k "gift" to Carroll Shelby's foundation and in return got this car tons of mods.

I am not very much into the nuts and bolts of vehicles but I do know that this Shelby is extremely awesome ...

Yeah on a normal basis of driving, my MPG would easily go down to 15.5 mpg

I cant believe it didnt dawn on me why i was getting that low of mpg up untill i put my lighter wheels and tires on.

My 20" chromies were made of pure freaking steel

now im gettin an average of 18.1 mpg.....i never woulda guessed that lighter wheels would make that much of a difference. makes me wonder how heavy those 20s actually were.

Bought the car from a girl who has had it since new. She cried when I drove off. (Hope to show it to her when finished). I bought it for my son but he thought it was too old of a car! His loss my fun!!

Thursday I was out running errands in my car and heard an awful loud noise under my car. Got it checked out and 2 brackets had broken off the left muffler. The weird thing is the brackets didn't line up the way they were when the guy went to weld/repair the brackets. He ended up having to cut approx a half inch off of the h-pipe to get everything to line up correctly. Any thoughts as to what could have caused the breakage? And NO I didn't take the car 4 wheelin or anything...lol.

At this time there is a tentitive date for a road course day at the Sheriff's Track in Midwest City. It is sponsored by the Oklahoma Mustang Club, and only allows 30 cars to the event. OMC has first preference (me, jared) but after those slots fill up, there will be some available for others. I'd like to see this event be filled with BMMC members, not DH members this year. It's on Jerry's birthday so it could be a great chance to hang out.
I know it's long but i thought it was worth sharing, the worst part? Think of this when you get to the end...Im going to college to BE ONE OF THESE GUYS.

So.....typical Thurs Night???? Leave school, go by Wal-Mart on Admiral and hit 244 at about 845, at Yale (im speeding) a black Crown Vic gets next to me in the left lane, and I slow down just enough to make out the "Arkansas" tag. Realizing he cant do anything to me I continue on at about 75 and he brakes and pulls behind me, ...

This sucks that this is my first post but here it is. I live in Tulsa and own a black 04 Cobra. It is basically all stock except it was lowered about 1 1/2 inches. It was stolen near 66th & Yale Sunday morning. The tag number is 043DFN and the frame is chrome which reads SVT in black and the blue Ford oval beside it. It has about 24,000 miles on the odometer but could be more by now. If you notice somebody trying to sell a 2004 Cobra or parting one out, please call me at 918-481-6140. ...

Ok so instead of buying new wheels I was thinking about powder coating the ones I have. I know nothing about this though....First off does it look good? Will it be shiny or just dull? Does anyone recommend someone? I assume this is a lot cheaper.....

Budget stock shifter moded.

I really do like the Hurst shifter look but I just don't have the extra money to do any more mods on the car. So I just used my creative skills at my job to make a budget stock shifter upgrade. Yes the Puerto Rican is at it again. I took a stock shifter, cut it, welded on it, modified the lower lever and changed the bushings. It turned out pretty good. The shifts are shorter, it looks good in the car and it only cost under $100. Here's what i did...
