~ 03 Kenne Bell Cobra Tuned! #'s inside w/ Video ~

Got the Cobra tuned with the 2.2L on it. I'm happy with the results considering it was 101* in the shop.

- Race tune it made 617RWHP/577RWTQ @ only 15* timing which could be bumped up to 20*+ which would be around 635RWHP but wanted to keep it safe.

- Street Tune which is super conservative for my everyday driving it made 552RWHP/481RWTQ @ about 16lbs of boost.

It was getting heat soaked BAAD. However, I was happy with the results since It was 100*+ inside the shop. It pulls retarded strong now. The whine is amazing!

I hate how those dynapacks put the load on cars like that in the low rpms. I'm scared to put mine on Kurtis' dyno with the nitrous on. I'm afraid it will load put the load on it and !

Was this with the lower crank pulley also? D0 you have long tubes? Your timing must be real low with the street tune, you lost alot of tq between race and street tune. Don't think those michelins are gonna hook that up for ya! :)

I slapped on a 4lb lower. No longtubes. Timing is REAL low and conservative for my everyday driving and only 16lbs of boost on the 91 Octane. It sucks with 91 around here. You can't get too aggressive at all on pump here. The race tune had some 101 Octane mixed in which helped with the TQ too.

Thanks everyone for the comments! It pulls like no other in the upper RPMS when my Heaton would just fall off. They are super efficient!

The IRS can stand up to a beating if it's setup right. I have bushings, IRS brace and at the track I run ET Streets (bias ply) and I've had many 5000ish RPM launches. On the sauce I'm making as much or more torque than Chris is

Don't worry man, you just got your Cobra. It's taken me 5 years to get this much stuff done to my car. It's always been a little here, a little there with my car. I'm almost where I want it to be. I just need a ported blower, injectors and a tune. Then it's time to put the big shot on it....it will probably take me another year or so to get all that stuff done.
