I would not worry about it in Oklahoma too much. But you might not want to tell everyone you meet hey I dont have any Cats either.

Dont go around parading you dont have them and you'll be fine. I wouldnt go reving the car up around police officers or anything and definitelyl dont tell them if you got pulled over. Say you changed your mufflers and play the..."im a girl" routine :)

Its illegal do to emissions laws. Here in Oklahoma they dont check for emissions anymore...BUT that doesnt mean a police officer cant give you a hefty ticket and impound your car for not having them. (likelyhood of this happening are slim to none) Get some lowering springs so if someone trys to look under there on the street its too low to see anything unless you lift the car up.

there are no sniffers in OK. There is no law that I know of regarding emissions. I run mine without cats and I know several others do too. Just don't go to Alabama, ask Hector about that.

I believe they can still ticket you and impound the car if you volunteer the info of NOT having catalytic converters. Ask your roomy on that one and get back to us. Im just curious. But hell half the cars in Tulsa that are half way loud dont have cats.

I was running an o/r x on my 06 GT and got a ticket for "modified muffler". I was going about 20-25 MPH in 2nd gear right after a turn and before I knew it he was in the rear view.

It was like 45 bucks. The cop was an asshole to say the least.

Oh, don't worry there was another ticket....excessive acceleration. I was only in 2nd gear, didn't squeal my tires or anything.

Went to court to challenge it, and the officer didn't even show up. So I won and only had to pay for the exhaust ticket. Rookie Cops FTL!
