Just wondering if anyone has installed a pypes mid muffler system...I just bought one and wondering if I should try myself in the garage or take it to a muffler shop.

Re: Anyone installed a pypes mid muffler system...?
Its easy, all you need it 13mm, a ratcheting wrench would be better to take off the 6 bolts by the muffler. You will also need a deep 15mm for exhaust clamps, thats it.

Yeah. It is a pretty quick install. I have changed my exhaust a hundred times. I like the setup you bought. It sounds good!

Re: Anyone installed a pypes mid muffler system...?
Take loose the 15mm bolt right around the curve of the muffler. When you get that loose, start twisting the pipe and should come loose.

Yea I had to take it to a shop to get it installed because it didn't line up properly...but I have no way to make a video. I thought the digital camera did video as well but it does not.
I really like the way it sounds especially WOT.

I like the old mustang sound when they had the mufflers in the mid section. The tail pipes just make a nice tuned sound. You know when a mustang is driving around. they just have that distinct gargle sound.
