Got my New $37 shifter in Today

Post by Guest on January 29th 2009, 7:52 pm

Doesnt look too bad but I have not installed it and tried it out yet. It may suck.. But I figured for $37 shipped to my door I had to try it out. Here are the pictures of it. And before anyone asks, I have no idea who actually made it as it says "made in china" on the bottom of it on a sticker but the quality on it feels good and it looks nice.. It came from Shark Motorsports on Ebay. Here are the pictures.

It looks pretty solid. Just watch out for lead paint! ;)

Seriously I about crapped when I saw the price on ebay. If it sucks at least I am not out much.. It has to be better than the stocker though.

They have more. Not sure what all vehicles they have them for but if you search Shark Motorsports on google you will find their ebay store.

Looks similar to the BBK shifter for the t-45. Does the shift handle come off or is it removeable? Details man details!

I dont know if it comes out. Not sure what you mean.. The top ring has allen screws in to where i could take the top ring off and take the entire shifter arm out of the housing.. Is that what you mean?

Well some of the shifters are like the old hurst or stock ones for the t-5 that have a removeable handle that screwed into the base from the side of the shifter handle.

I will probably put it in tomorrow since we are not going to the salvage. If the guy comes and picks up this 86 nose I will have the BBK Cold air as well.
