What header size should I get? 1 5/8 or 1 3/4?

I am going to be getting headers pretty soon and I was wondering which size I should get. Should I get long tube 1 5/8 or 1 3/4? I am going to keep the car naturally aspirated so I dont know if bigger is actually better.

I believe 1 5/8 if your staying Naturally Aspirated. If going forced induction down the road then go bigger

It may work fine but would he get more hp with bigger? even like 1-5 more hp? it is also going to have a cam...

You wont see any gains without going FI. Better off spending the extra dough on some good tires or suspension mods. All the power in the world wont do any good if you cant put it to the ground.

Like David said...no need for larger tubing...its a waste of money if your not going to use the added volume and velocity. There is a cost difference usually between the two and IM sure no one wants to waste money

i have 1 5/8s they make a good rumble and a noticable power increase(not much though) need a new tune to feel i i guess. will find out wednesday
