Oklahoma 93 Octane Directory

Post by blkpwr on March 20th 2009, 1:00 pm

following is a list of OK stations that offer 93 octane

the gas station on the north west side of 75 in durant ok sells 93. take the exit at the mcdonalds. (about 1 1/2 mile north of the casino) AND the texaco in calera ok also has 93 - 08stang

okmulgee oklahoma creek travel plaza im told has some. the one north of town on hwy 75 with the burger king. but i need a finders fee. - fastfox

I just searched for "octane" on this site and came up with three pages but not the following-
Does anyone know where in Tulsa (or statewide for that matter) I can get 93 Octane? I live on the TX border and just got a 93 tune (that seemed to solve a year long problem I was having). I had to refill in Tulsa (I do business there at least weekly), and learned that either no one or almost no one has 93 octane. I researched it online with my Iphone and learned that almost no one in the state has it. I found about three stations in posts that were supposed to have it, but those posts were all at least 4 years old. Within 30 miles of my putting 91 octane in my car (06 gt) my CEL came back on

Who sells 93 Octane in Oklahoma?

I wish I new of a place. Tulsa has been dry of 93 for at least 4- 5 years now. Pretty much since they started adding ethanol to everything. I have searched and yet to find a place in or near town. Mom and Pops are your best bet, but be cautious. We have had members on here have problems with the smaller stations gas. They do not move as much inventory and the gas goes bad or gets water in it.

If you do find a place let us know. We would be happy to support it. Also, if you need 91 etahanol free, there are a few places around town we can guide you to.

I know for sure there is a Shell station in OKC that sells 101 octane. It was very expensive though. Something like $7/gallon, IIRC. That was only a couple of months ago...November to be exact. I think the address is 63rd and Western.

that location is perfect. I drive by it enroute to tulsa every week. Perfect place to fillup (both to and fro- it takes half a tank to get to tulsa)

I will have to owe you the finders fee

The travel station on 75 just as you get to Okmulgee from Tulsa does indeed have 93. I can verify. I was just out there last week. Short of that you may want to invest in a few bottles of Torco to boost the octane if your in a pinch.

Yeah, the Torco Mach Accelerator is some good stuff! You can get it at Grand Prix Auto on 11th street. It is a little pricey tho, I think $25 for a 32oz can.

well for one thing you guys are not flying in an airplane! for 2 there is additives for high altitudes and additives from keeping the fuel from freezing, these are adiitives not wanted in your engine. ya it smells cool and is cheaper. but its gay! run the right fuel your not in a jet boat old timers! but i guess if you plan on racing at 15,000 feet gopher it! let me know how the valve seats like it.

Might check the speed shop on 71st street in BA accross from Rhema and near Elm. I dont know what the octane is that they have but they have their own tank out front for higher octane fuel.

That Speedshop in BA used to sell the same fuels as TRP, IIRC. If you really need some high octane gas, Show n Go on 11th street sells 104 octane in 5 gallon containers. You could also mix it with 91 to stretch it out if you want.
