I wish I could give ya an answer on that.... you will hear alot of bs and trash talk on this topic (when it comes to the Roush). I never dynoed my car before I changed it... and once I modded and tuned it, I used a Dyno Dynamics Dyno... I might be going to the dyno thing tomorrow, if its a dynojet... I want to see my numbers....

This is with the Dyno Dynamics.... 406 hp 400 tq with Steeda CAI and 2.57 pulley

Pretty sure the Hp and Trq should cross at 5250.

Re: PJ Pre-Delivery Dyno Results

Dyno sheets cross at 5252 when the left and right side HP and TQ tables are scaled identical.

For example HP is scaled from 100hp-500hp and TQ from 100-600 then where they cross would be lower.
On this dyno sheet however...both are scaled together. 100-500. HMMMM stumped

Horsepower is a function of torque. Nothing more to it.
HP=(tq*rpm)/5252

hp and tq are equal at 5252

There is one theory I have about the dynosheet. it may not be SAE corrected. From what Ive heard...If the graphs do not cross at 5252 and they are scaled correctly, then they are not real SAE standard measurements.

Dein...were your numbers SAE corrected? Dont cry..this might bring those numbers DOWN hehe

This is why I got a new tune, corrected was a tad low, I should be around 530rwhp range corrected. It feels alot stronger with new tune!

Nice observation! The HP is 100 - 500, TQ is 0 - 600

I can't wait to get on this fning dynojet... If you guys really think that my car won't produce over 400 hp with the mods I have... then you haven't been paying attention to any tunners at all.......... VMP... same setup 430 RWHP on DYNOJET....

Jarrod, my shit will always produce higher numbers than you! Don't cry loser

Yea, I was pretty happy but I know its got more in it! But in reality, it's not bad for a mail order 91 tune. I am sure Justin just sends a pretty safe tune at first till you hit the dyno up and check the air/fuel ratio. My a/f ratio was a tad rich, 11.2 range most of the way, I can tell the timing was turned up in the 2nd tune I used, it just feels alot stronger in the higher rpms!

They do! The hp scale is on the left and the tq scale is on the right. Look again! beerdrink At 5250, he made about 380rwhp and 380rwtq. On my dyno chart from the same dyno, I thought the same thing initially. If both hp and tq were scaled the same the graph would cross on the 5250 mark.

Ahh gotcha, i haven't seen many people use dyno dynamics. Do they usually run lower or higher then a Dyno Jet?

I asked breendspeed which dyno they wanted me to use to check there tune. They like the dyno jet,as long as they are well maintained. They think the tuner himself is also very important.
