Actually I had him on my list of possiblities. Everyone seems to say its a good place, but no one has gone to him with turbo, only supercharger. Do you guys have a shop or what?

Re: putting the turbo on

Post by lxhatch302 on May 11th 2009, 12:49 pm

he is a joke...he tuned steves turbo vert and its running so lean its fucking his shit up bad....we are going to let him borrow our tweecer to see how much he likes our tune more then he is going to buy one for him self...

my brother inlaw also does tuning as well, he burnt a chip for my boss' son's car and it made 503hp to the rear wheel on pump gas through a t5...

people who say he is good has never acutally looked at what he does and hasnt gone to anybody else...i know SEVERAL people who are VERY disappointed in his work...

my car with the stock bottom end and a t76 made 575 on the race tune and 475 on the pumpgas tune with a tweecer(brother did the tunning) and now with my other motor it made well over 700 with a fast sequential with us tuning it....

I feel like I am retarded when it comes to any kind of the electrical side of my car. Did not really want to tune it myself. I am one of those people who has to see things and have some direction. Basically all I am saying is I do not know anything about a tweecer or what is involved so I was hoping to get a dyno tune and be done.

With your setup Im not sure that would be the best Idea. Mail order tunes are great for a lot of applications, but when it comes down to a custom build....your best and safest results will come from a Dyno tune. I would not trust a mail order tune in your case.

I totally hear you on this, but the guy doing it is known for doing these on turbomustangs, and a lot of other vehicles. Man sounds like a good deal with your brother in law. Guess I gotta get it runnin first.

So I seem to be pretty close to firing it up. Lines are ran, not sure if the drain is going to work great or ill have to shorten it, but I'll give it a shot. All pipes are ran, gotta put oil in it, power steering fluid and battery. Oh and a passenger side valve cover breather if I can find one to fit next to the upper intake. I guess I am going to try and run the stock ignition for a bit. Till I feel like spending the money on a new one. I am mainly hoping everythign is sealed up okay.
