super charger for 2003 GT

I am looking for a whiple supercharger I found one and it is a Tork Tech has anybody here of them there web site is www.TorkTech.com I have a 4.6L 2v motor.

Yeah, there have been a couple of guys over on stangnet.com that have installed them and put down some pretty good power #'s. However, the blower they use is not a Whipple. As far as I know, Whipple doesn't make a blower for the 2v. You can always get a Kenne Bell instead! http://www.kennebell.net/

Comes with everything you will need down to a custom chip made by Tim Barth. The MPH mongoose kits are IMO the best bang for the buck supercharger kits available for the 2v's.

One of the magazines did a test with the Tork Tech not long ago and it was pretty impressive. They said the install was pretty strait forward and it gave the GT a 03 Cobra feel. The price is pretty reasonable compared to alot of the other kits as well. Bottom line is they didnt have any complaints and it dynoed out fantastic.

What you need to ask yourself is

1) Do you want low end instant power with very good top end (great for street fun)

or

2) Mild power down low...and serious power on the top end (great for track applications)

Twin screws give you instant boost....centrifugal builds boost with RPMs

As long as you build your motor up...that centri blower will take you down the track as fast as you want to go

Make an educated decision. If you know your ultimate goal with the car...you should be able to speak to the manufacturers and get their opinions on which would be the best choice and why
