OK, it sounds like a several Terminator Cobras have jumped into this match up. I guess if I am going to lose a race there are worse cars to lose to, ie. turbocharged Z28's or worse yet turbocharged rice-rockets!

Hey man, did you ever get your WOT box? If so, how do you like it? I'm loving mine!! I'm going to be working on launching off the 2 step once I get my suspension and everything worked out. I'm sure it's going to be a rush launching in boost, and then a split second later the nitrous hits....i may have to step up to a 28" tall tire.

Ok here is a vid that I made real quick of some of my runs. It was hot and there was no traction due to the fwd cars carrying a ton of water all the way to the start line. My best 60' is a 2.3. Maybe with some drag radials I can bring that down.

I am running Sumitomo HTZRII 275s in the back. When the start line wasn't wet I was getting a lot better traction. I have hit almost a 2.0 before in these tires. I am wanting in the 1.6 to 1.9 range with some different tires.

Not until I get my tax credit from Obama. Its on its way though, so shouldn't be long.

Joshua,
I was running 1.7's in the 60 ft the other night with my MT E/T Streets (that's with the stock 3.31 gears). To get below 2.0 in the 60 ft. you will definitely need at least a drag radial.

I would go with a dedicated E.T. Street or full slick. They are as cheap as good drag radials and work much better at the track than a drag radial.

Yeah now all I need is some rims to mount them on. I think I will go with some suspension and go fast mods for now. Then go with the slicks.

Re: Anbody going to the street warriorz? May 30th
Hey I was running faster than the new camaro. lol Yeah I still have the 3.31 gears too though. After gears, headers, cams, and heads I am going to get slicks or radials.

Nice runs Josh! Ya a set of DRs would do wonders. But still nice runs.

Not only are they better, they last alot longer. I've had my E.T. Streets for 2 seasons and they still have life left on 'em. I had drag radials that I would drive around on everyday and could only get 12k miles out of them. I'm a big fan of a dedicated strip only setup.
