In need of some help
Ok going to Oklahoma city at about 60 and my truck just dies and won't start. All electrical gauges work and everything else but it doesn't even turn over. Any ideas?

Re: In need of some help
id start with the fuse box by making sure all the fuses are snug in their place. then id try to tap the starter a few times and see if itll turn over. im just trying to think of the most simple things...

Re: In need of some help
A few Questions? What are you driving? How old is the battery? When it died, did you headlights work? If so, were they dim?
There are very few things that will just make a vehicle just up and die now a days. Your computer may have took a dump.

Re: In need of some help
I would check the starter. Make sure the power cable to it is still good. If so try beating on it with a hammer while someone turns the key. I have had this happen on other Fords. If it starts, you've got a bad starter.
I'm not sure that this would cause it to die though after it was already running, this is not my area of expertise.

Thought about that... But... it sounds like it died on him when he was driving.

Yes... however. Fuses don't blow for no reason. Normally it a sign of a bigger problem. Not to be Debbie Downer, just saying.

You should see me at work talking shit with him all year around, then the big game happened, Cowboys vs Steelers. Loser had to wear other teams jersey, freaking cowboys choked last 8 minutes of 4th quarter, made me sick. It was all good fun, made the boss happy at least. :)
