4.10's and trutrac

okay so the shifter has been repaired and is on the way back to me from steeda. next thursday i have an appt. to get the 4.10's and trutrac installed. will i be able to take it straight to the track friday or do the two need any type of break in period?
the last thing is now i'm wondering if my 26x10.5's will still work with the 4.10's. i'm sure i'll have to buy wheels for the 28's when i add the nitrous kit in my garage.
