This is why I hate Mondays!!! (440 rwph + wet highway = Not so pretty!)

man I was driving down 412 this morning and saw this pink 1992 camaro RS racing a black mustang.... and for some reason (pure frustration of losing is my best guess) the black mustang made a right turn into the forrest.... it was crazy....

Ok.... I leave for work everyday at 0545. It was still raining. I was crusing at 60 mph, the tail end started to get squirly. I pushed in the clutch and attemped to straighten the car out..... that didn't work, I did a 360, then another 180 into the lightpole. I held on for dear life and had the clutch and brake depressed. Next thing you know, I finally stopped. Thinking about it, that took a long as time to get down that hill. Once I stopped, I looked around, window busted out, radar detector dangeling, pike pass on the ground...... Couldn't open the door, so I called Ashley, the police and my boss.... then I climbed out of the passenger side door and made my way up the hill. This guy stopped and asked me if I was ok, my side was sore... but no cuts or any sign of bleeding. Ashley showed up... we walked down to my car... took some pictures. Then the FD showed up..... then the OHP (Who was a dick!)......... long story short...... I'm alive, good health (maybe not mentally), got a rental and the car is on her way to the body shop. The adjuster should be there in a few days.... I will post what the outcome is....

And think, I was going to try my damnest to win that Mustang prize money on Friday!!!! Oh well...... Hopefully they don't total it out.... they better if the cars subframe is damaged!!! Maybe I'll be in a new pony by Friday?!?

Lesson is physics my dear boy....

First: no rain... then rain = slick roadway

Second: 3600+ lbs traveling at 60 mph

Third: Bald rear tires = NO TRACTION

All equals to --- Loss of control at 60

I understand that maybe your car does quite well on slick roadways... I mean, how hard is it to keep 330 rwph on the ground..... not hard!

Hate to break it to you bro.... My ass in on Autopilot when I'm driving to work 5:45 AM..... that is prolly the only time that I do the speed limit!
