Clay barred my car Saturday

was my first time, works pretty nice, Used "mothers" brand
any special tips out there other than whats said on box?

Car looked pretty sexy that untill Sunday morning it had bird shit right in the middle of my hood and than dripped down to the bumper....gross, it was still fresh and not dried up, was able to spay it off easily

Did you wax it immediately afterwards? Very important to do so, as the clay removes all wax in addition to surface contaminants in the paint.

Amanda, YOU NEED TO GET SOME WAX ON THAT CAR SOONE!!!!! NO JOKE!! As said above, the clay bar removes the wax down to the clear coat so you need something to protect the clear coat or you will get sun damage. Never claybar the car unless you have time to wax it. Just my .02

ok, i'll rewash car, claybar, than wax...after my work out. man......
i'll cut down my cardio, cause i know i'll be sweating after cleaning my car.

You dont have to claybar it again. You only have to do that if it needs it and since you just did it, you wont need to clay bar it for a while. Just run your hand on the car and if it sounds like sand paper then clar bar it. Today you just need to rewash, dry, apply the wax and smile.

hopefully it will be cool enough with enough day light to wax car, i dont have garage available to put car in....oh well hope for the best

better safe than sorry. no sense in waxing a dirty car that you wasted hours clay barring...
