Re: Clay barred my car Saturday
Did you wax it immediately afterwards? Very important to do so, as the clay removes all wax in addition to surface contaminants in the paint.

I'm impressed! I've never known a female mustang owner that is as active in modding/maintaining their car as much as you!

Re: Clay barred my car Saturday
Amanda, YOU NEED TO GET SOME WAX ON THAT CAR SOONE!!!!! NO JOKE!! As said above, the clay bar removes the wax down to the clear coat so you need something to protect the clear coat or you will get sun damage. Never claybar the car unless you have time to wax it. Just my .02

You dont have to claybar it again. You only have to do that if it needs it and since you just did it, you wont need to clay bar it for a while. Just run your hand on the car and if it sounds like sand paper then clar bar it. Today you just need to rewash, dry, apply the wax and smile.

I think it is "I'm rubber your glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you". Something along those lines anyway!
