Installed the sequential tail lights today
Took less than 30 minutes. Just swapped out the OEM harness. Really easy! And it looks sweet too.
Got them from WebElectric (http://www.webelectricproducts.com/) for $119 (free shipping too). If you're thinking about doing this mod, I'd highly recommend them.
Here's something I've always wondered about, and it came up again today: If the Mustangs (going all the way back to the SN95s) have three sockets and three two-way bulbs, why doesn't Ford set them up so that they ALL come on when braking or using the turn signal? I don't get that. With this new harness, they do (obviously with the turn signal).

I installed these on mine about a year ago and as you say very easy task. I think the 2010 models have this as standard. Looks cool when you brake doesn't it? The older Birds and Cougars had sequential lights.

Speaking of mods, I'm having Steeda springs installed Friday. Not sure why but have been pretty excited about the change in the stance of the car.

Ha ha! Yes, that is in my car's future, just not sure when.
Oh, any tips for popping the end of the antenna off? I was going to shorten it yesterday but got frustrated.

Thanks Jerry, but I meant the very tip (ball end). I tore that thing up a little, but was able to cover it up with some black paint.
Decided to just order a shorter antenna and will have it installed before the Jenks show.

Re: Installed the sequential tail lights today
Just run a vice grip plier down to where it's barely wider than the antenna thickness but smaller than the ball. Turn with the ball facing the floor (carpet or somthing to catch it) and hit the vice grip with a hammer. Ball is pressure fit and will pop off with the propper amount of force. Then shorten the antenna rod to desired length. Once shortened you will need to neck down the end again to be able to tap the ball back into place as the rod is tapered from the factory.

I really like the web electric products.... I purchased and installed the cheaper kit, the one that you install in the OEM harness.... They are awsome!
