Slammed Mineral Grey

Post by Metric7 on August 1st 2009, 3:34 pm

Installed Roush rear lowering springs today - I like the new look! Lowered the rear 1", the measured centerline remains the same as stock at 1/4" bias towards the passenger side - not enough to warrant buying/installing an adjustable panhard bar IMHO.

Looks good!! I thought those lowering springs came with a set of black chrome FR500 wheels?? Poke

Be quiet Jerry!! hammer The story is; the lowering springs interfere with the stock rear wheels - thus, I'll have to get new rear wheels/tires, and the black chrome FR500s are the only ones that will work with the Roush springs. Then, since I have to replace the rear wheels and can't run a mis-matched set, I'll have to replace the front ones also. thumbsup

Yes, Kelley; us MG owners (and wanna-be owners like David L.) have to perform exhaustive internet searches just to see a picture of another one of our beautiful cars because, unlike VB owners, we can't just drive to the Wal-Mart parking lot and see dozens of them at once in person. owned

Nice try Kirby, but we all know that's not true! I just returned from a trip to California; drove all over SoCal and never saw a Mineral Grey! Would have loved to look more, but I had to spend far too much time dragging Karen out of the head shops.

I still see more 427r's running around then gt500, just means there are a bunch of dipshits running around Tulsa with a overpriced 427r.
