DTC Code - P0172 on my car - I Also have error 1034 on SCT Tuner

Hey guys, I am having problems with my car and tuner. My car is throwing a DTC code. The code number is P0172, it says system is too rich (b1). I think an O2 sensor may be out or something, I am not sure. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Secondly, my SCT is having a problem loading new tunes. I tried to load the same tune I was running but with a different axle ratio and it errored out. Then when I tried it again, it gave me an error. The error code was 1034 - Downlaod Failure. I have no idea whats going on, I tried researching but found little on it. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys! :)

Sounds like your tuner could be kaput. I bet Greg could help here. Greg... chime in here.

Yea, maybe, I hope my tuner isnt dead! LOL! Idk! But yea, I texted Greg and he did a little bit of research, But I dont think he had very much time today to do very much. I will prob just call him tomorrow! But his tune is awesome! He did a great job! The car ran awesome! Berfore this of course! LOL! I think it may be an o2 sensor though becasue it said (b1) (bank one). But thanks for the help though man! I will keep the thread updated!

The 1034 from what I have found means that something on the network is talking while the hand held is trying to program. I will get a hold of SCT monday to find out what the 1034 is for sure and what to do. Download SCT Live link and datalog the O2 sensors P0172 is passangers front make sure it is plugged in. Datalog the O2 sensors bank 1 and 2 STFT LTFT and email me the datalog. You may have an O2 gone bad

SCT said to flash the device stock again and then upload the tune. Greg was of course right. There was something communicating with the device and needed to be stopped. It stopped when changing it to stock. He uploaded Gregs tune and changed the gear ratio and all is good.
