Since it's QT, I'm sure it "Contains No More Than 10% Ethanol". It'll have to be labeled on the pump if it does contain the E-word.

I'm sure it's mislabled... They probably stuck a 91 sticker over it and it came off revealing the old 93 one.

Kinda hard to believe that QT would have only one pump in all of Tulsa with 93. Not much business sense in that. They would have to have one dedicated truck come out and fill it. Keep in mind gas stations only make a few cents on every gallion sold. They make there money on people coming in and buying pop, beer, cigs, snickers bars etc.

QT didn't become the company it did by making bad business decisions.

A month or so ago, I walked in and asked the clerk if it was actually 93 octane. He told me he didn't know about it and thought it was probably mislabeled. BTW, it is the southwest pump on the highway side.

The 91 is available there as ethanol free but the 93 is ethanol blend. They do have it though. Been there many times

Just a thought here, but does the ethanol blended gasoline have more resistance to detonation than the non-ethanol blends? Wouldn't the ethanol have somewhat of a cooling effect? I may be offbase here, idk.

Yes Ethenol resists detonation, But One unit of ethenol blend gas has only 3/4 the energy as one unit of pure gas. Less of an explosion in the chamber.
