Lost Winnie

Post by KevinGT on January 27th 2010, 10:12 pm

When I was 20 years old I bought a 1966 Mustang that was primer green and really ugly. The interior was completely redone but I could never afford to finish it. Is there anyway I could go to the DMV and get the VIN and try to track down where the car is now? Going through a mid life crisis now and want to restore that car. I named the car Winnie after the girl in Wonder Years. lol

Not sure. DMV might be able to tell you where but doubt thell disclose any information as to who owns it now.

Ahhhh, poor Winnie. Mid life crisis at 37? Don't plan on living long, do ya? If you have a tag agency that you frequent, where they know you, you might try there. Take the vin number, and see if they can help.

Found this, not sure if it would work. Have only scanned over it briefly, but looks like it might work.

Let me just say that there were no girls like Winnie anywhere in the town I grew up in. All the girls back then looked like Carrot Top.
