look at this
I was wanting to buy it someday. but what will i do with it? prolly nothing cause i wont be able to have the time and money vested into it.
Its definitly a fast back.

Re: looking for muscle
good luck on fitting a big bbf in there lol. we have a 557 with trick flow race heads on our 69 drag car. i got the motor all put together went to put it in the car and the heads hit the shock towers before the motor was all the way down! we had to chop the whole front of the car off and put a mustang II front end under it. got the kit jegs sells and have all kinds of room now but still had to build our headers as fender well exit.

lol thats why im leaning towards the torino. also you know the boss 429s had the same problem? thats why they cut the towers on the 429s and put in concave plates(i think thats the right word) motors barely fit but they still fit!

Re: looking for muscle
yea i looked at just notching our towers but there was no way i was gonna get any kind of a header in there even if the head would have cleared. but the mustang II front end is very nice and not to hard to setup if your a good welder. im gonna put a II under my f100 one of these days its drives like crap with the dual beam setup it has.

wonder if that would fit under a torino front end?

Re: looking for muscle
ive down sized to a 557 for now. using a 460 bbf stroker i can get over 700 horsepower quite easily wiht the right heads and a MEAN cam. wont approach what you have running there but itll be enough to make me happy

Re: looking for muscle
thats a 427 block stroked to 557 with trick flow a460 heads i estimate it to be 900ish hp. its the heads that make it huge and the heads that make the hp. nothing better than all motor ford power!

im definitly going to need it im having trouble deciding on components. the websites that sell them certainly arnt helping me any!!!!!!!! cant figure out what i should have as a compression ratio.
9.8:1 to 10:5 is what seems to be the norm. i want to run on 91 octane max and maybe go 100 octane eveyr now and then for extra fun....at 700 plus i dont think there's much more fun you can have on the street with out breaking some serious laws

D1ve 460 big block
521 stroker kit
