Engine light...

you can take it to autozone and they will read the code and clear it for free. might have just been a small glitch. that would save you the drive and if it says anything serious the light will come back and then you can take it to the dealer

Shit happens sometimes, why wouldn't the dealership fix the light if knew the light was on when they had it, it was under warranty. She probably put 400-500 miles on it, sometimes sensors just go bad. Now if it was out of warranty, I would be calling that dealership up and having them pay for it, but in her case, just drop it off and it will get fixed.

I would think you would be able to pull the codes with an x-cal, but I am not 100% sure on that.

it can also clear the code. i just had to clear one on mine after driving it for the first time in over a month.

They havent called yet so Idk! I took it in at 9:45 though. I am also having them look at my wheels. My car shakes so bad it vibrates my rearview mirror.....very annoying!

you know you could give em a call and find out what code it was throwing at you.

i've never really liked being left in the dark about what there doing to my car.

If I took my car into a ford dealership that i've never been to, just to get it serviced, i'd chew my nails clear off

Well they are keeping it over night because they don't know what's wrong. Say the Engine light keeps coming on and they have to do more testing tomorrow. Good thing its still under warranty

Well they fixed it once then test drove it to see about the shaking and the light came back on...Of course this was 3:30 and they had the dang car ALL DAY and had to keep it. I miss Zoey
