Photo Shoot with P51 Mustang "Miracle Maker" Apr 17th

We will be doing a photo shoot with the P51 Mustang "Miracle Maker" and the club member's cars! This should be a very cool event! The photo shoot will take place on Apr 17th (weather permitting). The shoot will be located at Jones Riverside Airport in Jenks. Time and meeting place will be announced later. More details forth coming.

The P51 Mustang was the top US fighter in WWII. Know for it's long range, speed and agility, it played a major role in reclaiming and then ruling the sky's over Europe and the eventual allied victory. More here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P-51_Mustang

I can shoot this event, then post up links for peeps to get their photos for download. Everyone can be responsible for their own prints, if they want them.

Oh, and this will be a challenge event.

If I sign up for Challenge Events, can I grandfather the past events from this year?

Just the first two. The first two events were our sign up events, anything after our next event will be that event and future events only.

Hallet is available every weekend, a P-51 is not. just sayin...

A correction to your stats. If it weren't for the P51 we would all be speaking German. It was not the top fighter in WWII it is the top fighter of all time. The history channel did a top ten fighter planes of all time. The F-15, which is flawless in air to air combat came in 2nd to the Mustang. These are amazing planes. I will be at this event.

Just for the record, this is a shoot for the cars, not a beauty pageant for our bedraggled members. The car shots should be "without" peeps in them to be the best shots.

I have one with the f-15,but the p-51 will be waaay cool.I feel a 8x10 coming on.To bad mineral grey will blend into the 51 paint .Visita Blue should make a killer combo.
