Did you have the opportunity to check any of these out on your trip Paul?

We should do a Rte 66 cruise. I wan't able to go on the last one.

I'm thinking next spring... We use to run down to the Rock Cafe in Stroud. Great place! However, about two month or so ago, it burned down. Very historic place. Dawn the own is going to rebuild!

I also did a scuba trip to NM back in March. On the way we took most of RT66 to Santa Rosa NM. Very cool trip. I have pics in my Gallery. Stop at a few rt66 ghost towns. Very neat.

that sounds like a lot of fun. I can't make the fall cruise, so maybe we could do something again like that next year?

I've tried to get some online updates on the progress of rebuilding but haven't found anything. Any word? I went to the Rock Cafe website but it seemed to be down or gone?

We went by there last weekend and nothing has been done.

Well, I did some digging and found this Rock Cafe Blog. Sounds like they are going to start some interior work in the next week or so. Took this from the blog: Sir Paul McCartney and new girlfriend,
passed by the cafe on Tuesday.

Paul here with the Bold Moves Mustang Club of Tulsa… Hope all is well! We heard about the fire and was heartbroken. Your place was always a favorite stop on our cruises. I’ve been following the blog and and it looks like things are moving along pretty good! (We are so glad you choose to rebuild!) Let us know if the club can do anything!

When is the grand reopening? We’ll be there in force!

rode out to the rock cafe today.Just buy looking i would think they would be open by early summer.At least from the outside.

Quick update.... Looks like the Rock Cafe is planning to open at the end of May. Soooo... I'll get a cruise setup.

Very Cool. That place will be packed for awhile after they reopen.

Channel 6 had a segment on the Rock Cafe this evening. Sounds like they want to open this friday for breakfast. Place looks good!!

We are def going to need to schedule this on somewhere! Jerry get on it!
