G-Motorsports / Tulsa Kart Club Intro

Hi all - my name is Tadd. I'm a transplant, been in town about 8 years now, and love it. It's a great car city, and there are a ton of really nice rides and active clubs which I think is great.

I help maintain the websites for the Tulsa Kart Club (tulsakartclub.org), and work with NASCAR/ARCA driver Russ Dugger (PR, photography, video, and maintaining his website at www.russdugger.com) in my spare time - I'm an IT professional during the day.

My son is a kart racer at TKC, and we're hoping to spread the word and get people familiar with karting as a much safer and cheaper way to get their go-fast fix.

I wont mention my car because I might have blown by one or two of you on 169 and been blown away by others around town...

I've done some autocross with the SCCA, and HST at Hallett in my car. I've yet to climb into a non-rental kart, but that'll change when we pick up my son's new ride tomorrow. I'll be able to fit in it...hopefully I won't break any ribs, I know they're a handful.

Anyway, it's great being here and I hope to see some of you at the track!

Welcome, I take it you found this place from me joining your facebook group possibly? I've alwAys wanted to have fun racing these karts, might be time for it.... Like I really need something else to dump money into. Might have to come out sometime and see what it's all About!
