Found out why i was getting an average of 16mpg

Yeah on a normal basis of driving, my MPG would easily go down to 15.5 mpg

I cant believe it didnt dawn on me why i was getting that low of mpg up untill i put my lighter wheels and tires on.

My 20" chromies were made of pure freaking steel
now im gettin an average of 18.1 mpg.....i never woulda guessed that lighter wheels would make that much of a difference. makes me wonder how heavy those 20s actually were.

she probably runs a lil stouter now to! i took the 22's off my lightning and put on 18= much better

I say BS Amanda!!!! The reason you get poor mileage (as i learned from being in FRONT of you) is under every overpass, bridge and ocassionally at random, you rap your car out to hear it, then grin from ear to ear. Not to mention the 120 we were doing on the way back from POPS!

amanda did you change the size of tires if you did and did not have speedo calibrated then you can not compare MPG

I'm slinging 20's and @ 80 mph getting 23 mpg on the open road.
