Resonators???

Ok, so of course I took the buy first and be annoyed later approach to exhaust! Yay... NOT! If I had just taken a few minutes and searched on youtube and found that O/R X pipe and flows= raspy, popping annoying sounds that are emberassing to me. If you drive normal it sounds pretty good, and idels good... but when you get on it and shift it pops and with 4.10's on the highway it gets real loud.

Now first choice would be to get some magnaflow mufflers, but they are expensive, so from what I have read maybe resonators would help??? where do I get said resonators?

Anyone got a better idea for me? I looked into a Mac Prochamber midpipe,,,alot of people seem to like it, but its also expensive... Guess I could try to sell my bassani X pipe at a later time if I went that route

have you tried your stock mufflers to see what they would sound like with the X. should be able to get resonators at any local exhaust shop. i personally like the x-pipe sound more than the H. the popping doesn't bother me at all

yeah... on the stock muffler thing, the reason I acted so quickly is because I bought it as a Repo and it only had an X pipe on it. That is why I didnt have time to research into it more.

So I dont have a stock muffler

I think resonators will give you the sound your after without putting too much of a dent in your wallet
