Got home Friday, car was open . . .

Post by Guest on March 15th 2010, 9:05 am

And my GPS was stolen, nothing else, and the car wasn't damaged, but it smelled strongly of cheap perfume. And when I went in the house, it smelled like the same perfume in there. I had the house locks changed and reported the GPS stolen but I'll never see it again. Now I'm afraid to leave the car home, it'll get stolen, and last night I heard someone at the door, but when I went to look there was no one there.

I am so ready to move, start over somewhere else. Too many memories there, and now it seems that the "crooks" know I'm alone, and are moving in for the kill.

Yeah and worse, if you had your GPS programmed they know how to get back to your house. Good idea on changing the locks. Moving is always a plus.

Of course it's programmed, lol. I'm driving Kauz today, cause I'm paranoid they"ll come back for it. I'm afraid to stay there, just a little. I loaded my gun last night.

All this stealing is making everyone edgy... but can be a good thing to be prepared.

Sorry they stole your GPS, at least thats all they got, I listen to the radio on earphones now!

do you all not have ins. or is your deductible to high to bother with it. in case anyone didn't know if you claim something on your ins. the only way it will make your rates go up is if it was your fault. example: you hit someone. example of not your fault: car broken into and everything stolen.

you would probably be amazed at how small the difference is in a 500 deductible and a 0 or 100 deductible.

It's not worth turning in, when I can buy a new one for less than the deductible. The car wasn't hurt

That sucks, Sandy; I'm sorry to hear about it. Do you have an alarm on the Mustang? Here's a trick I learned by accident (don't ask) - pull the fuse to your coil; the car will never start.
