Post by blkpwr on April 14th 2010, 8:10 am

Remove the wheels on the front, remove the inner fender liner, at the back of the wheelwell you will see a couple rubber grommets with wiring harnesses entering into the cabin of the car. This is where the leak occurs, take some silicone or other and seal around the gromet and any other openings where water can get in (can get messy doesn't matter since you cannot see this from behind the fender liner) and presto no more leak. Easy as pie. Or if you prefer American Autosports will do the job. If interested in that route let me know and I'll get you a price. Really though its easy to do yourself in a couple hours tops.

Thanks for the response. It does sound easy. I am a teacher with two weeks of school left then moving to the next town over where my wife teaches, then a week long gung Fu class then an army school for two weka in Wisconsin hen in July army firefighting school in Texas etc. I may not have the time to do it but it's been bothering me the last 5 years thinking about water sloshing around rusting my car.
Please pm me how much you think it will cost so I can consider dropping it off duri g my move or something

Can this be done by pulling the passenger side kick panel and sealing it from the inside.?
