question?

Post by Vandy9303 on June 22nd 2010, 9:00 pm

Ill be honest with you. I'm not sure if it matters. But is it better to weld up your subframes before or after you modify a cars suspension?

Thanks

Which ones did you go with? Would like to know what you think when you are done, how much they really helped

My plan was to get the kenny brown matrix kit but all the reviews I read it was all the mane... They r good but went to max motor sports full subs and liked them better. So they r 169 right now on americanmuscle with free delivery so I picked up a set if them. Also have a set of hour springs new mm cc plates and lower control arms. Ill take b4 and after pics. Should make her handle a little better

I have maximum motorsports flsfc's on mine. They are top notch quality and they will really allow your suspension to do its job. If you can, go with the powdercoated ones.

yeah i got the powder coated ones tim. i was gonna just get the bare and paint them but i think it will be more durable this way. hopefully they are what everyone says they are. i know the cheapo ones i had on my fox did wonders. between that and all the other boxes of crap that have been arriving daily my car might be worth driving now lol

u ever get your tranny issues figured out?

I actually got new rear Mach 1 shocks and found a set of takeoff Mach 1 struts for 75.00.... Most places they are 150.00 a piece now... And they look new! Only paid 135 total, so crossing my fingers they do well

I'm sure they will anything has got to be better than the stockers. I've been thinking about some bilstien but may end up going with the toico (sp?) Blues based on the fact that they r cheaper and have yet to hear anything bad about them
