Mustang is Sick!!

Post by yellowstang14 on July 1st 2010, 11:42 pm

I need help finding out what is wrong with my stang.

When I start the engine it starts to make a popping sound comming from the left to center of the engine. It almost seems like it is comming from the fuel injectors or the intake manifold. I changed my spark plugs about 5 months ago and i also put a new stack racing 70mm throttle body in about 6 months ago. I need help!!!

you retune the engine for the new manifold?

need more syptoms. does it constantly make the noise? does it increase with engine rpm?

have you had your valve covers off and looked for damage?

If the plug threads stripped it can be repaired on the car.

Sounds like one or more plugs not firing. Could also be somthing to do with that aftermarket throttle body if their isn't a tune.
