Lowered the Termi
Well had a small project this weekend and with the help of some friends got some lowering springs installed on the cobra. Got the Eibach Pro Kit.
Heres some pics. I don't think I will be working on my car again until January.

Chris found the deal on eBay. These were used, but looked good and fit right in.

American Muscle has the new set for 799, c/c plates, struts and springs. Since I need struts anyway, I thought it might be good to do it all at once.

Which H&R's did you get? Been thinking of ditching my sportlines for something a bit more foregiving and heard the H&R's do the job

Re: Lowered the Termi
I'm not going with sportlines either, the kit comes with the better springs.

Re: Lowered the Termi
Jerry, are you running on the OEM iso's or did you get new poly iso's on that drop in your pics? I'm thinking the H&R Race springs for mine. Not sure if I should get new poly iso's or not. I know some people will run OEM iso's, or run one OEM iso and poly iso, or just run one poly iso, etc; to achieve the look they want. I've heard poly iso's take some of the listed drop out from any brand. Is anything else needed when going to over a 1.5" drop (like new shock/struts for the shorter stroke, a bumpsteer kit, etc.)? MM C/C plates are on my list as well, just b/c the OEM C/C plates are basically worthless and look like crap...

Re: Lowered the Termi
I would definitely suggest a set of camber bolts at the minimum (get that in before David chimes).
I would get new shocks/struts, but a lot of people don't and do just fine. That's more of a comfort thing.
Bumpsteer and Balljoints, I would wait until you get an alignment and see waht the shop suggests depending on if they can get the toe dialed in.
As far as ISOs, it all depends on how yours look. Ask David, when we did mine (80k) they were smushed paper thin, and my springs rubbed against the control arms and made the most god awful noise. Threw in some BBK ISOs and never looked back. It raised my car back up about 1/4", but the increased ride quality made up for it.
Not sure if I have any before/after shots with the ISOs.

Thanks Logan
Zach I reused the factor Iso's. And I am quite happy with the eibach pro kit. The only issue I have is sometimes it is too low.

Good thing you chose against sportlines if the pro kit itself is too low.

Yeah, the look of yours is unbeatable IMO. Not ricer slammed to where you need to put in ricer negative camber, but not the OEM 4x4 look. On the Mach I was going to go with H&R SS springs, but I wised up for this Cobra. I was going to go with H&R Race, but with listed drop of 1.6"F and 1.4"R, if you are too low sometimes, I'll have major issues with those. I am unsure what to get now. I liked that the H&R's are specific/standard rate, not progressive like the Eibach Pro Kit.
I wonder what kind of ride quality would be created with Eibach Pro's up front( 1" progressive) and H&R Race in back (1.5" specific)?

Could be interesting.
I am 1.75", and aside from the ocassional exhaust scrape (fixing that sunday), i have no issues.

That really isn't any help to me. If you are on a V6 or Gt chassis, you already had a way higher ride height than the Machs and Cobras. I think it goes like this (in order of highest ride height off the assembly line OEM):
V6 / Gt
Mach 1
Cobra

Re: Lowered the Termi
Just get a couple of fat friends to come sit in and on your car (about 1200 lbs will do). Find the lowest point and measure distance to the ground. Average speed bump is 3". See how much clearance you have.

And the suspension from the front of a cobra is the same as a gt.
