i always use Fram or Bosch, any Oriellys or Autozone or Advance will be sufficient, Ive never wasted the extra cash on MOTORCRAP, Ive always heard (someone correct me if wrong) that they are made by FRAM for FORD

There hasn't been much advancement in the fuel filter technology. Any of them should work just fine. If you go to oreily, it will probably be a Wix filter. Not sure what brand the others carry. Again any of the will work just fine.

There's a good write ups on filters, I'll see if I can find it. However, Motorcraft is not Fram. Motorcraft filters are made by Purolator. But are made to strict Ford specs. So... a Motorcraft is NOT the same as a straight Purolator. Fram use to be good until bought out many years back (Allied Signal). I use to use them all the time. But after doing research, they will not go on my car. Fram failed or was ranked at or near the bottom of every test I've read. This was for oil filters however.

I'd personally stick with the stock motorcraft.

Dually noted. I thought maybe I had some missed/old information, wasn't sure, good info!

wouldnt surprise me. its whenever i got a new cycling switch for my AC, i had a reciept from advanced, and i asked if they could price match, and he was like "no, its against our policy, our products are much better quality than everyone else" so i said " actually, you have the same thing as advanced, shipped from china, and you put a napa sticker on it. doesnt mean its better, its like putting a NOS sticker on your honda, it doesnt make it faster" LOL anyways they wanted like 25 bucks, and advanced wanted 16.
