Looks like I'll be staying in Oklahoma

Things have gone horribly wrong, so I'll be needing a lot of alcohol on the fall cruise, to pickle my broken heart. Glad I have my BMMC family, wish I was there with you guys.

Not to turn this into Dr. Phil.... but I'm a HUGE believer in being comfortable, and happy with yourself before you share yourself/life with anyone else relationship wise.

Another person can not singularly make you happy. If you go into a relationship thinking that, you'll be disappointed every time. YOU are the only one that can make you happy. Only once that happens and only then... should you share it with someone else.

I was finally happy with myself, wasn't looking to date, or care about someone, let him in, and look what happens. Not everyone is as lucky as you Paul. Someone of us are doomed to solitude and sadness.

Had gotten used to being just me, wasn't sad anymore. That's why I thought it might work, cause I had stopped worrying about anyone but me. I'm resigned to the fact now, I am going to end up being the crazy dog woman on the corner with all the wind chimes.

I'm fine, or at least I will be.

I guess I have been gone too long and have missed something of import!

Well he's a wreck, has been calling me in tears. I'm so torn about this. Can't stand to hear him so upset. His Mom is very sick, hospitalized, we're a mess, his job is hard right now. Don't know whether to be supportive and work it out, or let go.

Everyone deserves a second chance, right? Let time settle things down, or just make the break permanent. So tired of thinking about it, but can't NOT answer when he calls.

What about a 5th or 6th chance?

Not insinuating that you'll be single forever, but i read a study that single people today are alot happier than those people in relationships.

I dont really know much of what happend but reading bits and pieces sounds like he ended it because of all the things going on in his life and didnt want to bring you in it and have you worry.

just my perspective, but i could be wrong.

We are working through the problem, he doesn't want it to be over, and really neither do I.
