Alternate tires for GT500?

OK So I love and hate these tires that came on the Shelby. Grip like crazy...including every pebble and stone on the road...all I hear leaving the neighborhood is hundreds of little sand grains hitting the body.

These tires are also no good in the cold...so...what's some recommendations for some all-weather tread? I'm the type that drives my cars year round. I've been happy with the Perelli PZero Nero's on the 2010 GT...but is there anything better?

I put Nitto NT555 Extreme's on mine. Love 'em. Grip like mad in summer. One hell of a lot better than the stock tire. Bet they suck in winter tough.[u]

im running snow tires on my car. grip great and have a 400 treadware life. havnt got to test them in the elements though.

nokian wr's i believe. they come in a 295/35/18

I like the nittos. If you drive it year round, go with the 555 extreme's. If you really want to have some fun, get a set of drag radials. They grip even better, but suck ass in the cold and cant be driven in temperatures below freezing.

I'll check into the Nittos. These GY tires are really the $hit on warm pavement...I can't believe how well they stick. I've thrown this car into some corners at speeds I wouldn't even think about with the GT on the PZero's...it's almost like riding on a rail...but the other morning I pulled out of the driveway when it was about 50 outside and they broke loose just letting the clutch out conservatively.

im going with a nitto nt05 when i replace mine. no experience with them but willing to try.

probably even do a nt05r on mine but i dont do any bad weather driving

bfg KDW IIs are a good tire BUT have terrible road noise...

i will probably go with a nitto NT05's or some gsd3

this is very true. i'm on my second set and love them, but they are quite loud. they get pretty good mileage if you drive like a normal person and don't just watch the rubber go up in smokey fun.
