Newb from Sand Springs
Hello everyone, here's another new guy from Sand Springs. My name is Chris and I picked up a 2003 GT a few weeks ago and love it. I have always wanted one since I was able to drive and I finally had the chance to get one. It's a M/T with a cold air intake, 70mm Trick-Flow throttle body, and 3.93 gears. I bought it the way it sits but don't plan on leaving it that way for long. I'm glad there's a group around here local. I used to be a part of the Tulsa Sportbike Riders but since I'm selling my bike and focusing on the Mustang, it's nice to know there is a place I can come ask questions. I hope to see you all around. And feel free to give me a hard time about my car being dirty, I haven't had time to properly clean it in a while.
Chris

I would love to come out and meet people for the cruise but I work every Saturday. Don't give me too much crap but I work at Bob Moore Nissan in Tulsa. They have a good product which is why my wife drives her black Maxima. I have owned 7 or so different Ford autos so I'm not a total sellout. I do look forward to making it to an event sometime soon. From what I have seen so far you all have sweet Mustangs.

I might have to take you up on that. I was just talking to my brother the other day about how it needs to be lowered a bit. I haven't really started looking at parts and upgrades yet. Might have to soon though.
On a side note, I went to a training seminar today and when I left 4 hours later, there was a huge wet spot coming out from under my car on the pavement. I can't tell what is leaking or where it is coming from either. I picked up 2 quarts of oil on the way home just to be safe and made it home just fine. I grabbed my flashlight and went to look under the car and it seems to be dripping down in a few places. When I put the light on the drip, it looks green to me which makes me think it is coolant. I caught some in a bowl and brought it in the house to look at. I can't tell if it is really thin oil or just dirty coolant. Tell me what you think.

Thanks for any input.

Boy, if that's oil it's like brand new. I'd say it's antifreeze. But could be Jared juice?

Re: Newb from Sand Springs
Thanks for the input. I swirled it around in the bowl and it doesn't flow like I would expect oil to. I also dripped some water into it to see if it would separate like oil and water should and nothing happened. Then I noticed the resevoir at the front of the car and can't see anything in there so that makes me think that the leaking fluid is the coolant. Now I'm going to have to poke around in there and see if I can find out where it is leaking from.

Hey Switch...
Welcome. I'm a Sandite myself. If you see a silver/blue 2010 GT or black 2011 GT500 around town it's either me or my wife.
We are also former TSR'ers. I used to have an RC51 and the wife has a VFR800 (trying to sell).

Hey Rob, if you dont mind me asking what are trying to get for the Interceptor? And what color is it? ABS? Year? I had an 02 that I loved. Single swing arm, and a whole different bike when the R's roll up, like having 2 different engines on her.
