HIGH DEF AUTO DETAILING

Post by jonn127 on December 4th 2010, 12:28 pm

Been awhile since I've posted, thats my fault. I'm working on establishing a part time auto detail. Wanted to see what you guys thought about this flier. I'm also in the business of trying to develop some before and afters, so I would be willing to do 50% off. If this seems too good to be true, its not, i do this cause I have a passion for it and love taking cars or trucks from dull to showroom shine. I'm not doing this to get rich, just basically to make enough to support my passion, and keep the wife happy.

These are from a friends truck, which is in the stages of clear coat failure, so only used a mild all in one polish.
Hope these pics show up. Is there any way to attach a word document?

Here is just a cut and paste of the flier till I can figure out how to attach word documents

HIGH DEF AUTO DETAIL
“Seeing is believing”

Full car detail package includes:
• Hand wash and dry with premium car shampoo and microfiber towels.
• Clay bar to remove bonded surface contaminants (if necessary).
• Single step or multi-step polish to achieve optimum paint clarity and shine.
• Paint is then sealed with high quality paint sealant and then waxed for that ultimate deep and wet look (wax optional as car will be needed overnight to allow sealant time to cure).
• Wheels, tires and wheel wells cleaned and dressed, polish wheels and exhaust tips, clean door jambs, restore faded trim and rubber seals to look new, engine cleaned and dressed, windows cleaned.
• Interior includes vacuum and full wipedown of interior cockpit with UV protectant (dash, glove box, cup holders, doors), leather is cleaned and conditioned.
• Prices range from $100 - $300. Example would be compact car with little to no paint correction needed ($100) to a full size SUV or Truck with a multi step polish ($300).
10% of proceeds will go to The Little Lighthouse, a school for special needs children. Please visit www.littlelighthouse.org.

Glad to have you Jon. Good luck with your business. What brand and model of buffer do you use? There are a few of us in the club that really enjoy cleaning our cars. I use a Griots Random Orbital DA polisher and mostly Wolfgang products for paint correction.

I actually registered a long time ago, just haven't been around lately.

I use the Porter Cable 7424xp, would love to get my hands on a flex though. I use a few things, Wolfgang products, Meguiars 105 and 205, Optimum Power Clean (amazing stuff). Just got the Fuzion Estate wax 2 days ago, can't wait to give that a shot. Also, have some poorboys and chemical guys products. I got a little crazy with the supplies. thumbsup

Nice products sir. I too would like the Flex, but for the money I passed. I only detail my car so it didnt justify itself. Now if I were to be in business I would def look into the flex.

Speaking of products...I need to order some more for Christmas!! Need to be ready for spring :)

where do you guys buy your stuff? I have no interest in doing it on anything other than my own cars, but I used to do detail when I lived in Georgia. I don't want to go to NAPA or somewhere and buy everything at full retail prices. I would expect there is a commercial wholesaler or something around here. Sorry, don't mean to hijack your thread. I just thought you guys would know if anyone would.

Thanks
Doug
