Yeah, saw that the other day. Thats ridiculous imo that they can write him tickets for that.

Not ridiculous at all. He broke the law and video'd himself doing so...put himself and others in danger. He has his car for sale on craigslist...undercover police officers inquired about the ad (which he posted the videos to in order to sell the car)....officer was wearing a wire and the kid admitted that it was in fact him driving the car to what he thought was an interested buyer. Long story short...he went to jail and was ticketed.

I will admit its fun to go fast on the street....but on a turnpike with traffic in the middle of the day is not one of them.

Yeah, you do have a valid point I guess, if they got a confession from him and the whole deal. If they made the arrests solely based on the video however, I still feel it would be ridiculous.

Maybe we should send them tweetle dee and tweetle dums videos to teach them a lesson. (Josh and BJ) since they love to video themselves street racing

I'd rather they actually do something about the assholes driving without insurance, a license or texting, putting on makeup or talking on the cell phone while doing 35 MPH on the expressway. Some mind you doing all the above at the same time...

Or possibly put their detective skills to good use and capturing murderers, thieves, and rapists....

that's my main complaint in it... but still, just a self-made video and a confession doesn't seem to be the proper justice tactic. A lot of people brag about stuff that's not theirs. While my car was in the shop (got it back tonight btw), I had pics of silver 01 Cobras that I was showing people to be mine, though they in fact were not. LOL

They estimate him at 190+ and he comes close to a compact car during the first of his run....probably doing around 100mph when he switched lanes past the car. If the Compact would have changed lanes at the last second...it would have been all over for both.

Clarification... It may have sounded like it, in a round about way but, I was not defending him at all. He's obviously not the brightest crayon in the box.

I just wish they'd would focus some of that energy on the everyday douche bags.

Oklahoma did finally enact a law that any uninsured vehicle may be impounded by any law enforcement officer in the state who encounters it (e.g., stopped for speeding; investigating traffic accident; etc.). That's a start. Now if they'd only impound vehicles of drivers who stop at a green right turn arrow and just sit there.

There is time for this and in the video it is obviously not the correct time. Plus endangering other people's lives is just ignorant. I hope he goes to jail.

Or the videos were filmed in "Mexico" but every street sign is written in English...and the buildings look very close to a US City. uh huh

All I know is that wasn't 190, he better get his speedo checked! Probably 140-160 range!
