BBF carnage

Post by loweredf1 on December 23rd 2010, 5:28 pm

this is the aftermath of the last trip to the midnights. kincked the ladder at the adjuster. the time i went out before this it ripped the ladder bar brackets off the rear housing. which were welded on by the previous owner and the welds didnt look great after inspection. this time im not sure the adjuster has a lot of pitting and corrosion like it was from somewhere salty but it bent at the threads kinda looks like the force from the panhard rod shoved it out. anyone have any idea whats going on.

i really dont have room to do a 4-link i would have to chop it up from behind the seat on back uuggggghhhh. i have seen s&w sells a heavy duty ladder i think i will e-mail or call them to see what they recommend. hopefully just a heavy ladder and maybe another drop down on my launch rpm.
