Ford cant build a 3.8 I worked for ford and i cant tell you how many of those engines I have seen with blown head gaskets. Get a GT or do a motor swap
Thought the 3.8l gasket problems were on the earlier pre 99 models. I think the newer SN95s have a different head gasket design. I know the earler 3.8s leaked oil like nobodies business too.
Still have seen them blow, they are better but boost and 3.8

Re: Looking for opinions
I already have the intake. I would like to get the PI heads also but I am unemployed right meow. I'm looking though..
When I had my red GT, my stock intake split one night..spewed coolant EVERYWHERE. I had like 6 full bottles of water in my backseat so I filled it up and drove it home, 2.5 miles. The longest 2.5 miles of my life. That car was a tank. Pushing 200k and running perfect. Anyway...the ALL plastic design was a horrible idea.

Re: Looking for opinions
Yeah tell me about, being in college and working an almost minimum wage work study job for 10 hrs a week doesn't really leave a whole lot of discretionary income.
