We need warm weather... and a tech day...
I need warmer weather... The goodies are starting to roll in... got a few more parts for my supercharger build in, growing ever closer... my 1.75" drop lowering springs came in yesterday, need to get those and my Mach 1 struts put on (shocks are on, just haven't done struts yet)... my H-Pipe came in, along with my mufflers (just need tips and then it will go to B&M to be welded up)... and Tyler picked up some 95 Cobra Rs that we are painting black and throwing on my car for the time being... not my dream wheels by any means, but since he changed directions (got Y2K Rs with Hoosier Tires), figured I would throw them on mine until we sold them to get something else...
What do you guys have planned for mods once it gets warmer? I also need to install my underdrive pulleys and try to find time to mess with my 3.73 gears...

The next couple months will be quite interesting as far as mods go. I always love the leadup to the Mid America with a fresh mustang.

totally... still debating on whether to get a vendor booth for the show or not... may need some "customer cars" on display... when are you looking to get the intake setup?

would love to have my motor finished and the supercharger installed by Mid-America, but dunno if that will happen... all depends on the funding...

I'm certainly not the top techie here (actually not even close) but if you change your underdrive pulley and then supercharge your car, won't your boost be lower in your car defeating the purpose?
I need to install a 2.6" pulley, a bigger heat exchanger, and 3.73 gears and then I'll be done....

Re: We need warm weather... and a tech day...
Normally that would be correct. However, remember that i am putting a cobra m112 on my v6. The m112 puts out more rapid airflow than the heads can handle, and air ends up getting backed into the blower, causing premature heat sink. By using the udp, you slow dowb the rotors in the blower, slowing the air speed. You will lose boost, but gain useable airflow and horsepower.
On a cobra, the m112 puts out about 8 psi. If we were to run it on the v6 with no limiter, it would put out over 18psi due to the restricted space. Bye bye motor!

But by that same logic if the UDP's are 10% underdrive then it would be putting out 1.8 psi less? So 16.2 psi? Seems like you'd need something more than just the UDP's?

Re: We need warm weather... and a tech day...
Ok so let me get this straight. Just so Im sure im understanding right. You plan to underdrive the accessories and the SC by 42%? I know the accessories are a bit over driven from the factory but Im sure its not by 42% maybe 12-15% at the most. Im just not seeing how this will work.

Larger pullies on alternator and wp will ensure they rotate at oem speeds.
