Where does your tax money go?

So tax season is here (comes right before car season, whoo!), and it's always interesting to hear what people do with their refund money.

I personally never get much back, used to be around $600 a year but it's even less with the misses. No kids, no house, so nothing big to expect. Had a lot of school expenses this year, so hoping to get a little out of that, but we will see. Always seems we get about $150 from the feds, but then have to pay $75 for turbo tax, $25 to file the business taxes, and pay $100 to state. Viola, no refund...

IF we happen to get a refund, I'll be taking that, adding it to my corporate bonus check from work, and using it to pay off most of my bills so we can have the extra funding to actually get a house... may get some wheels or something, but don't expect to see much out of the car from this...

What are your plans?

What tax money???????? Pay in a assload and still get the ole screw job from uncle sam, 3 kids and big house still don't help!

I will be mailing a big fat check to Uncle Sam to go along with all of the money that has already been robbed from me....

Seriously, i am self employed, so they get a big chunk from me every year. I dont know what a tax return is...

I guess that is true... but paying a little more each money and then getting it all back at once is nice... its like a savings account...

A dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow. I can have my money invested and working for me today. If I have to wait 12 months to get it returned back to me, that is 12 months of interest and dividends I have missed out on. Give me my money now!!

What bugs me is I can't get the state taxes right to save my life. Two years ago I owe like $115, last year refund 134, this year I owe 126. Thats whats frustrating about the tax code.

I will most likely be paying in this year because for some reason my work-study job decided to just not withhold any income tax at all...that and taxes on my scholarships. :(

I am thinking about quiting my job, popping out 5 kids, and going on welfare. That way to GOVment pays me.....

would love to put some in my car...but probably pay off small bills and some yard work...but my list for the stang would be more fun....

What is a refund? Old uncle Obama wants mines. More and more all the time, the harder I work the more people go on welfare.

i appreciate anything the government gives me back. when China takes us over, we most likely wont be getting any sort of refund.

$1 billion of your hard earned tax money goes to aid the Egyptian army that hates us.

$1.5 billion of your hard earned tax money goes to the UN security counsel that hates us.

millions go toward the organization that aids the abortion of babies with underaged mothers.
