Here is the VIR run that the SVT Engineer did....hes a better driver than the Car and Driver people. Managed a 2:58.06 ...just 2 hundreths slower than the Z06

This boy has some skills... I watched his lines... Wow. Simply Amazing.

Had more left in her too he said in an interview....He kept hitting the rev limiter. 2011 does have the advantage of superior tires to the 2010, which definitely allows for a faster lap time. But theres no doubt the lighter motor and balance makes the car faster for sure than the previous models. GET AN 11 PAUL!!

Paul is waiting to get a 2020 model.
