Re: More Shelby reading.
It's hard to beat the GTR with the all-wheel drive on launch. The thing is just a beast. But for half the price, the GT500 is still an absolute bargin. Slap in a tune, pulley and some stickies ($1500) and we'd have a much closer race.

I know this is "drive what you brung" or a stock comparison, but there is so much you can do to improve the Shelby, less with the vette, and nothing to the GTR. The GTR may have won, but I have absolutely zero desire to even drive one.

I was going to say the exact same thing.....nice assessment sir!
The Z06 is still a sweet ride though :)
GTR does nothing for me

Re: More Shelby reading.
the gtr is a bad bitch and id roll one if i had the funds. problem isnt really the price tag as much as the cost of keeping your warrentee. damn thing has a 6k dollar (per a guy in okc that bought one) price tag on the initial service. either way i wouldnt trade my shelby in on one but they are still bad ass
