strut and spring install help...
Got my new wheels in, but want to get my springs and struts installed before i put the wheels on. Physically, i know what do and can do the job, but living in an apartment makes thinks hard. I have a floor jack, but dont have any jackstands here, and air tools would make things much simpler.
a
nyone want to get together to knock this out? I am off all day tomorrow, and could meet up around 11 to get started.
Any takers?

I did mine in a driveway, rears are super easy. The fronts you need air tools to get the strut nut off or a special tool, otherwise the strut will just spin...
I wont be here next weekend though..

Yea the rear shocks are done, its the fronts that i need help with. We have removed the full rear before, but that was when i had the wrong set of springs. Cant put 05 rears on an sn95 lol. Now i have the right set, and ready to do it again...

Re: strut and spring install help...
if you dont have air get an electric impact. they come right off. thats about that hardest part about it. everyone says the rears are easier but i did the fronts in less than half the time

fronts are super easy, as soon as you get the top nut off! we bent the crap out of many things, like a huge screw driver trying to hold the sturt from spinning.... air tool took it right off!

What brand would you suggest? I hear most electric impacts are junk
