Greedy oil men....Libya contributes only 2% of the US's imported oil. They are having a serious conflict there right now.....so what happens? Well oil speculators push the price per barrel up and oil companies make a profit.

Heard on the news that there is a possibility to see 5.00 a gallon by june...

Its a double edged sword for me. I work in the oil industry, so higher prices mean added job security. But it costs me a fortune to get there everyday...

yeah, but what is it in Egpyt? Isnt it like under a dollar??? they are the assholes who started all this crap over there. Im glad their independence is making us pay 3 dollars now.

On another subject, these fucking idiots who are acting like "pirates"... if they are pirates, why dont we just bomb their ass or take a navy ship and destroy them. If they are truly rogue pirates, who fucking cares, right??? Its not like we would upset anyone

We better pray that Saudi Arabia doesnt get in this mess.

If they do we'll be praying for $5.00 a gallon.

This is a good enough reason to drill off the coast and in alaska.

I just got my new bike, which was gonna be for sport/rec... Might need to start riding it to work.

If the pro-democracy movement spreads to Saudi Arabia we are screwed... However, I don't think that will happen.

too many regulations in the US for it to have "cheap fossil fuels" or cheap gasoline

why diesel is higher priced than 87 octane, with the new emission laws and "ultra low sulphur" content means more refining/cleaning time to give us shittier gas mileage as well as cost more at the pump

im in the oil and gas business and i drill/complete/produce the wells themselves and the ones that are becoming wealthy and posting record profits are the majors that own refineries

Can't do much about it. If the needle says fill me up, I pull in and gas er up. Non-ethanol gas here in Claremore is around 3.50 for 91.

That's the government for you. Totally FU results that drives prices of food up, poor performance and gas milage for your car, and what do they want to do? Up the amount from 10% to 15%. Asounding in their stupidity.

They need to get rid of the 10% in it now. It isn't doing anything for consumption, the environment, or the cost. All it's doing is driving food prices up. What a joke.
