Well a little bit lower then what I expected but it made 373.9 RWHP. I guess on a mustang dyno thats around 430

Re: Local 2011 5.0 Mustang
hmm not bad... would've been nice to get a baseline before modding, but still, it's a good number before going for larger modifications...
and don't forget, the gears are an amazing upgrade that can't be felt on the dyno. You feel that difference at the track...
what was your torque numbers?

I think you have it flip flopped. The 374 would of been the mustang dyno numbers and the ~430 would be what it should be on a dynojet. Definitely nice numbers though.

Re: Local 2011 5.0 Mustang
Pretty sure he is using a mustang dyno. On a dynojet dyno those numbers would have been alot higher

Probably be good to do... not a bad time though, ease off the clutch. Just like you would from a light, just quicker. Dont dump, youll spin...

Im still debating on whether I want to sell mine or not
they were going to be for my 07 GT...then I sold it to get the Shelby.
I have a set of Brand new (stickers still on them) 275 BFG Drag Radials mounted to 17'' 2005 GT wheels.
I did that so I could just jack the rear of the car up...swap out the rear wheels and bam on my way to the drags.
Here is a link to the tires.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=g-Force+T/A+Drag+Radial+2

They run about $400 if you include shipping, then the cost of the GT Wheels. A good $500 in this setup. They would work great on your 5.0.
I am thinking of using them for the shelby, but I dont see myself going to the track much. I might let them go for the right price. Let me know
