Yep. The stock rubber is on borrowed time. The tires will hook a little better after they're warm but not much.

It's pretty amazing the difference from stock to this with just a simple pulley and tune. It's sick.

So are there any looking at trying to run 10.90's with these beasts? Do they have it in them?

Stock 2010 GT500 with just hoosiers and littles up front has run a best of 11.3 @ 123 (sea level im sure)..... That same car with a pulley and tune is in the 10s :)
Now with us driving.....NO haha But are they capable....if the stars aligned yes, just takes money. Lightweight drag wheels and tires are not cheep.
There is a stock 2011 GT500 that is running 11.1 @ 123-124 mph with bigs and littles. Hes shooting for 10s, but I dont see that happening without a pulley swap.
On street tires these are mid to low 12 second cars.....very traction limited. Its like driving on Ice with these crappy supercar tires

Love that whine. Guess I ought to install my pulley?
Best time I managed to get stock was 13.2. Bad driver mod for sure, but mid 12's stock is pretty optimistic. I need to give it another shot with my mods and see what I get.

What's funny is I just realized today I had accidentally loaded my E10 ethanol tune. I switched it over to my E0 tune and woaaaaa nelly! Hello to another couple pounds of boost. Car is making 13lbs of boost and pulls quite a bit harder than with the wrong tune in. Now just need to get some 373's and I'll be pretty well set.
