If you pulled a 13.27 stock with a 2.5 60ft time....you can go 12s easily.

YOu should be able to pull a 2.0-2.1 on street tires. For every tenth of a second you better your 60ft it usually equates to 2 tenths of a second in the 1/4 mile.

If you can get a 2.1 60ft thats mid to high 12s stock.

Good luck

my wife was lookin at your gt500's and she wished we would have went that direction rather than the new 5.0 but i am pretty immpressed with the preformance of the 5.0 it runs much better than my old 07 cal spec

The new 5.0 is an amazing car. Honestly performance wise it's a formidable machine.

I remember seeing yours and asking myself if it was a V6....no badging and blacked out. Does give you that sleeper look if you dont look at the lower Cal Spec front spoiler.

I was in the same boat as you....Was looking at a 5.0 and trying to decide on an 07-09 for less than the 5.0 or go with the 2010 for just a few K more drool

went with the 2010 obviously hehe

5.0 is still one bad machine!!

a JLT intake will go a long way towards helping. contact greg about them, he has a carbon fiber JLT intake for $280

i need to get a JLT for my 07 SGT. the larger intakes make a big difference in power. also if some one tries to sell you on an intake that doesnt require a retune, slap them. if it doesnt require a retune its not worth it.
